Complainer or Worshiper?
April 8, 2009
I’m reading a book where the author, Mark Batterson, writes, “I think there are basically two types of people in the world: complainers and worshipers.”
We are faced with choices every day.
- Hate or love.
- Keep or share.
- Ignore or help.
- Complain or worship.
No matter what situation you find yourself in you have two choices:
- complain about your circumstance or
- worship God for what is right.
Change your perspective. Change what you are focusing on and choose to worship Him for what is right!
Complainer or worshiper?

I would like to say worshiper but I know I have my complainer moments. Great post Mike
Very timely for us…we are making an effort to eliminate complaining in our house. The next step is to replace it with worship.
some times ,to began in the home and to simply began to show another softer side of caring in small ways helps to create and become the active part, the action part, we create the worshiper in our selves.
HI mike. while looking for Micheal High, on the Internet, your name came up. My nephew also goes by the name of mike high. We or devought believers of this statment, and live it out. a few days ago someone got into my car and stole a laptop that he had just given to me. the pain i feel is unbearable, not so much because of monitory value but the violation that keeps occuring to my music, you see i sing, they were creations of songs that i made and yet to subfile, in this process i have learend worship is closer to my healing than the space i could create in hate for their acts against my right to live simple . so i do lead, follow a path of worshiper verses complainer. sorry about spelling don”t have spell check.
Hey Carolyn. Thanks for stopping by. Sorry to hear about the computer and songs, hopefully you will be able to find it.
