About me
My name is Michael High and I am happily married to Amy, my wife of almost 15 years. We have 3 wonderful children ages 10, 8, and 6. I have lived in Edmond, OK my entire life and we go to LifeChurch.tv. My interests include golfing, cycling, photography, hiking/outdoor activities and I am a bit of a tech gadget geek. I list those somewhat vicariously because with 3 active kids I don’t get to enjoy them as often as I once liked.
Why am I blogging? Some of you are asking that question right now. Honestly, I am still asking myself that same question. I have been interested in starting a blog for a while now and finally took the leap of faith. I don’t really know where this will lead, or how many people will even read it, but it will be a fun way to keep everyone updated on what is going on in my life. What I have found is that the idea of blogging has really initiated my thought processes. As I read my Bible, books, other blogs, newspapers, etc. I am finding myself formulating ideas and wanting to write about what I am finding. Hopefully, this blog will be an online journal of sorts where I can write down my thoughts and hopefully start some good conversations.

You are so cool!! Great blog.
I think the blog might attract the geekier friends and family (myself included) sooner than others. Nothing personal to those who have already posted or are reading this.
i just googled myself and i found your site. Very interesting! I am originally from Houston Texas, but am currently living in Ft Lauderdale Florida. I am 26 years old, married 1 year to my beautiful wife Juliana, and have a 6 year old son Bradley. I also noticed the you are in Edmond, OK, my big sister (36) lives in Edmond as well. I guess it is just too small of a world out there! I’ve also listed a website below that is for only us High’s. Just thought you might be interested in checking it out.
