Happy Easter!

Allie has been developing a “relationship” with our neighbors over the last year or so.  They are two older ladies (mother and daughter) that live by themselves.  She will occasionally walk to their house and ring the doorbell, with no real plan other than to say “Hi!”  A few visits ago, she took them some homemade gifts, and ever since then it has become a gift exchange.  She will visit them with a card, they will reciprocate with a doll, etc.  Yesterday Allie went over there to say hi and they had some Easter presents ready for her.  She was very excited and came home to make them an Easter card.

Me: Allie, what did the card say?
Allie: I put “Love, Allie on the top and it had a lamb on it.”
Me: That’s nice. What else did it say?
Allie: It said, “Jesus is the shepherd, and you are the lamb.”

I agree!

Happy Easter!

    Ah-ha! Now you’re committed… 🙂

Sweet story about Allie. I love when kids are so bold about telling others about Jesus. I wish I was more kid-like.

    Looking forward to reading more.

Thanks for the invitation Mike. The subtitle for the blog is pretty funny, as is the temptation entry. Pretty cool.

I told Sam (6) to go next door and get some milk for Fynn, so we walks into their house without knocking, opens their fridge, steals their milk and returns home without them knowing. I wish Sam had the manners of Allie!!!!
